How I see myself in the future

The future is the most uncertain thing in this life. That is why we always have to look to enjoy the present but taking in count that we have a tomorrow. The key is to purchase the balance between the present and the future.

My principal goal as a Psychologist is to finish my major as best as I can. This is because I want to be a scientist recognized in the world of Psychology. Economic Behavior is the topic that I want to study in specific. In Chicago there is a University that has a master degree of Economic Behavior, so when I finish my major I hope to go there with a scholarship and have the master degree in Economic Behavior.

Before I finish my major I want to go to an interchange for a semester, I want this because I want to know new places, new people, live alone and by myself, and practice my English. Besides I want to go to a country that speaks English and has good programs in Psychology.

Now I am in the middle of my major and the next semester is very important because it will be the time of decisions. I said this because from the next semester I will have to choose the area that I want to be part of. There are six kinds of areas in Psychology and I want to study Cognitive and Behavioral Science which is the area that makes the basis of behavior. I like this area because is the most scientific of the major and they all make research of behavior. In fact, these vacations I have to think and be sure of my decisions about tomorrow that is why I will have a very important meeting with myself and my future for seeing what I´ll do in my future.

I like idioms so I want to study French and maybe then, other language. It is very important for me and my major to learn more about other cultures, however, is more important to understand my culture and my lovely Mexico, so I think maybe the next language after French I will learn some regional language.

Actually, I am not sure about the work that I will have but I am sure that I will maintain myself. In fact, I figure myself living alone in a department with a beautiful dog. I don´t want to keep living in my house for ever, as soon as I can I hope to go away from my house.

Also I want to say that is not in my principal goal to fine some relationship, for me is much more important to finish my studies first, and then if someone is around my life and I like him, perhaps, I can have a relationship with him.

Finally I want to help people; I hope to have a job or be in an institution for helping people. I think this is very important because according to my personality is part of the human being to help each other.

The Brave New World

Questions

1. How does the author depict London in the future?

With a lot of control, without diversity of ideas and like if everything in every part were predicted and predestinated by bad people.

2. What kind of ideology is represented by the motto on the building?

It represents that the most important thing for a person is that he most feel identity with its community and there is no other kind of ideology, and it also represents equality like if a principal objective in the community were to maintain the order in the society.

3. Is there such thing as Nature Selection? If you could decide who to reproduce/clones, who would you pick?

I thing that between animals non rational yes, but between human being there is not a process such as Nature Selection. I think this because every time we see more and more people. And here is an interesting paradox of the medicine, because it is saving people that shouldn´t reproduce.

Talking about if I could decide who reproduces I agreed with my partner that we just choose people that shouldn´t reproduce, like kidnapers, killers and all those people that is bad with other people or even people who is bad with animals and nature.

Second Conditional

Situation: You are at an airport, suddenly a well-dressed stranger approaches you, he explains that his Money has been stolen, and asks you to borrow 20 pounds to get home, with a promise of repayment.

First of all I would ask him what happened and I would tem him to make sure that he doesn´t have the money somewhere else. If he didn´t find it I would lend him my cell phone if he wanted to call someone. Then, if he wanted, I would give him just some cash for the taxi but I wouldn´t give him all the money that he asked me. Also I would try to help him with other things like going with him and I would wait until he felt better.

If this stranger would be a bad person or if he was a thief I would scream and pursuit him until he give me my things. Besides I would be very carefully and I would observe him very well to see his real intentions. If he really needed my help I would give him, if not, I would run away.

How can I improve my writing?
First of all I think is very important to put attention in what we are writing and if we have a question about the spelling or something else, to check in the dictionary. Also read twice what is  written. Finally practice more writing.
